In 2008, Trey McIntyre Project began a collaboration with the Preservation Hall Jazz Band which resulted in the creation of 2 ballets, 15 jazz recordings, and 60 performances in 7 countries. These amazing artists coming together across disciplines to make something special was really worth documenting. And well… we didn’t do it.
So we want to fix that. We traveled to New Orleans and uncovered all of the bones and the steps that it took to bring this collaboration to the stage. The resulting feature-length documentary is titled Ma Maison, which is French for “My Home”.
